DQS10 Finished!!
I mailed my Doll Quilt Swap 10 out today. I am really pleased with how it turned out, and hope that my partner will be too.
The dress is my embroidery version of Fig Tree & Co.'s Madeline pattern. I traced the outline and then filled it in with patterns from the Sandi Henderson fabrics I used for the half-square-triangles.
I have to admit, it was a little bit difficult to mail it off today, especially because it is heading overseas, and I had a swap package get lost before. I will cry if it doesn't make it!
I also received my DQS10 quilt yesterday from Lael in Alabama. I just love the color scheme she used. It's so fresh and cheery, I cannot wait to hang it on my wall.
The back is also super cute, especially the snail! I'm so glad to have gotten the chance to participate. And this completes my swapping for a little while. I'm glad to have a break, but I'll miss looking forward to quilty mail!
P.S. I'm linking to Lily's Quilts Fresh Sewing Day!
