Sometimes I wonder where my baby has gone? The other day he grabbed his spoon while I was feeding him yogurt, and started feeding himself. Now, since we live in a rental house, I had been hesitant to let him go crazy because I don't really want to be scrubbing stains out of my carpet at the last moment. But, it turns out waiting worked out just fine, he has no problem feeding himself now {apparently}, and is a rather neat eater too! Yay {and maybe a little tear because he's growing up too quickly}.
Also, since this Sunday is Mother's Day, I wanted to post a little something I think is newsworthy. While this isn't exactly a "mommy blog" {except the weekly photo posts!}, being a mom, I do follow several, one of whom Adriel is The Mommyhood Memos. ReplyDeleteI remember when my daughter started feeding herself. Every milestone is so bittersweet--I am so proud of everything she accomplishes, but at the same time, I am a little sad that she's not so little anymore.
