I signed up for another swap...of a slightly different variety this time. If you're not familiar with the Lillyella blog, you should be. Anyway, this Christmas season Nicole hosted a Secret Santa swap. So, I thought I'd share the little package I send my swap partner:
Since I didn't really know anything about her, I was directed to her blog for info, but not finding what I was looking for, I pursued her Etsy favorites. I discovered she had added the "Snip Snip" fabric from Momo's Wonderland line {which, if you've been here long, you know is one of my very favorite fabric lines!} to her favorites in several colors. So, I got out my gallon zip bag of scraps {I don't throw any away unless they are too small to use...ever} and made up a few things. I'm really loving pincushions these days, I love how cute they are, how practical, and how quick they {sometimes} go together. I don't know if she's a coffee drinker, but nearly everyone loves Starbucks, so I thought I'd do a giftcard and personalized sleeve. Finally, I found this cute little pattern and bundled up some of my precious scraps {I even parted with some of the larger pieces}, for future use. I really hope she enjoys it!
Then, I wrapped everything up, tucked it into an envelope, and sent it away. I think today is probably the earliest it could arrive...but I'm anxiously waiting to hear if it made it {and if she likes everything}. Oh, and I'm waiting for my package as well...
P.S. I will still be doing some blogging this week and next...but don't know if I'll be able to pull it together and have something daily...I'm trying though! Merry Christmas!
Well done on pulling together a gift that I know she'll love! That was smart of you to check out her favourites on Etsy for gift giving inspiration!!!
