This is probably my favorite quilt I've made so far. I used a layer cake and some yardage that I had bought in hopes of making a different quilt, but this one sort of suggested itself. I made it to go in my bedroom, even though it is not a bed sized quilt {maybe it's just me, but I don't usually make quilts that large}.
But, it's just been hanging out in the living room so far because it is the perfect size to cuddle up with on a cold winter evening {especially in a drafty house!}.
I even have some more Simple Abundance stashed to make a few things to go with it. I know I've said this before, but this has to be one of my favorite fabric lines. And, it is really great to see some of those piles of fabric be transformed into something that I can look at daily {though, I never mind looking through fabric either}.
Thanks for sharing your stash projects with us!
Beautiful quilt. I love the fabric too. I no longer have a stash to make anything out of, as I gave it to the girl's home my neice works for. She used some of it to make the baby quilt for Jacob I posted a couple weeks ago. It's now time for me to build a new one. But, I did manage to cut a few pieces for my BOM yesterday, then diaper duty called. :-)
