Clinging to Summer

I don't know what it is about this summer, but I'm not ready for the change of season this time around.  The air is crisp {as I've mentioned before} and this year it makes me sad.  Maybe it's because the summer was so long in coming this year {we weren't able to turn the heater off until mid-June}.  Or maybe it is because the autumn weather returned so rapidly {hasn't gotten above the 70's for two weeks now}.  Or maybe it's because this is our last summer in northern NY.  Most likely, it's a little of all those things.

I'm sad to be counting down the seasons we spend here, in our cute little house, the first place we've lived together, our home.  So, to cheer up, I was looking back on some photos of last summer's adventures, and thought I'd share a few today and throughout the weekend.  Here are a few from Niagara Falls, the first two from Canada and the third from the US.

I hope everyone is making the most of these last few days of summer before Autumn, in all its red, orange, and yellow glory makes its appearance.
