Little Sister

The newest addition to our shop is here!  The Brooklyn bag {pdf sewing pattern} is the little sister of our new Libby bag {pdf sewing pattern}.  Not everyone likes to carry everything-but-the-kitchen-sink in their bag {I just happen to be one of those people who do}.

Although in comparison, this bag seems quite tiny, it's actually rather roomie without being too large {if you don't have as much to carry, then why be tempted?}.

Just like New York's famous borough, the Brooklyn bag has as much style as her big sister, but still has a look all her own.  This pattern is also a bit easier to complete and would be perfect for someone with a little experience.

We couldn't resist using some more of the beautiful Fandango by Kate Spain for Moda.  It is so vibrant and fun and goes right along with the mosaic tile look.  We focused on the bolder side of the palette and this little bag makes a big statement.

We think this is a fun new bag and a little bit different style from any of our other sewing patterns and hope you enjoy it too.

  1. I love this one! I really like your Libby bag, but it seemed a bit larger for me {although it would probably be perfect if I had kids ;-)}, and I'm stoked you have a smaller version =).

  2. This bag is simply adorable! I found your blog through your sweet comment on my little log cabin block tutorial. This may be next on my bag to-do list!
