Happy Thursday all! I am a little late posting this, but wanted to send you all over to Sew We Quilt this morning. I'm honored to be guest blogging there today {thank you to the fabulous Madame Samm}. If you somehow have missed the Wantobe Quilter Campaign that is going on, you must check it out {and carefully follow the directions to win some lovely fabric and amazing embroidery threads!}.
And, if you're visiting from Sew We Quilt, welcome! I hope you see something you like here and stick around {and please, feel free to leave me suggestions for new things to try in my quilting!}.
Happy Stitching & Quilting!
Hello Jennie & Clara - found you at Sew We Quilt and am your follower now too. I've added stitchings to totes and smaller items, and have an almost forgotten "stash" of cross-stitched pictures that are waiting for the day I include them as log-cabin centres, or I-spy blocks. Hmmm - maybe I should haul them out to the light of day and work them in soon!
ReplyDeletehello!
ReplyDeletei just wanted to thank you for sharing your ideas, your stitching and all your wonderful designs. i can't wait to explore your site more and see all that you have done. your quilts are beautiful and i love the little "extra" that the embroidery adds to them.

HI Jennie
ReplyDeleteLoved your post on Stash. You are so right. We need to challenge ourselves. I would like to start embroidering words on my grankids quilts. Something to inspire them.
I enjoyed your post on Stash Manicure. I'm following you now. I've been inspired by bloggers to add some hand quilting to my smaller projects. I'm attracted to redwork too. Thanks for inspiring me with your embroidery.
ReplyDeleteI, too enjoy embroidery though I haven't incorporated it in my quilting enough. Happy to have found your blog but I can't get the follow button to work. I'm going to copy and paste your URL to my blog soren2go@blogspot. Does that make me a follower.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with us and loved your post on StashManicure.

ReplyDeleteHi Jennie and Clara! I am popping over from wantobequiliter. Loved your post by the way. I am horrible at embroidery or any hand sewing for that matter. I am hoping to learn a little something from your blog. Happily following!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower and I luv to add embroidery to my quilts. Thanks for sharing your ideas on Sew We Quilt. I've added your 101 Embroidery button to my blog. I'll be visiting often...I'm on DH's laptop again.....mine has a few hiccups again, waiting for DH to check it out!!
ReplyDeleteGreat post over at Stash Manicure. I'm just becoming interested in embroidery but I've discovered French knots don't like me! My colonial knots are ok though. I've become a follower as I want to check out your tutorials and being a follower is the easiest way to locate a blog you're interested in :).
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Robyn
