Fall into Fall Giveaway

Wow, I cannot believe it is October already!  To celebrate fall and all it's cool and colorful goodness, we're joining the Fall into Fall Quilt Bloggers Giveaways.

We're giving away a printed copy of either our Isabella or Jane bag, your choice!  But with every new pattern, one needs some fabric to make it with, so in addition, we've got five fat quarters {each pattern has a Jelly Roll and a fat quarter version}.

You get to choose between Swanky by Chez Moi for Moda or The Winding Way by Jennifer Chiaverini for Red Rooster Fabrics.  To enter simply leave a comment on this post telling us one of the best places you've seen fall leaves, here's mine:

Driving with Josiah through the Adirondack mountains on Route 28 through Old Forge, then turning north towards Saranac Lake.  I will never forget the first few times I saw fall leaves in the Adirondacks!

You have until October 15th to enter.  And do forget to stop by and enter all of the other giveaways at the Fall into Fall Giveaway Blog.

  1. It may sound like I'm cheating, but my own yard has some of the most beautiful fall colors, thanks to the 100+ year old maple trees living there. Though I don't like raking them all up once they're off the trees, it's a treat to live under them. Thanks for a chance to win! I would love to make the Isabella bag in Swanky.

  11. Ooh, I love this - LEAVES, and their abundance during Fall.

The best place I've EVER seen or experienced leaves is back home which is Olean, New York (60 miles south of Buffalo). We used to make leave forts, stuff jeans and T-shirts to make Leaf Men, and then we used to make heaping piles of leaves so we could make LEAF ANGELS.

If I "HAD" to make a choice, I guess (although it is hard) I'd choose Isabella with The Winding Way.....scrumptious bag!!!!

    Happy Fall.

Ah, what grand memories...thank you for that.

I had only been on the west coast up till then. We live in the desert, we see some fall colors but not many.

It's difficult to pick one place - I grew up in New England (just moved to Texas and I'm missing the real Fall terribly!) I think one of the best sites I saw was last year, down the street from my home on Gogan Road in Clinton, Maine. The trees were behind a field with horses grazing - the scene was perfect! I was lucky enough to capture on film - my husband is using it for his desktop background now :o
