To enter is simple, just let us know what you're most looking forward to for fall, what you most love about it, or a favorite fall memory {and feel free to let us know if you have plans for this jelly roll!}. We're just going to do one entry per person this time, but we always welcome new followers too. The giveaway will close on Monday on September 19th at midnight. Good luck!
The fall always means the Big E around here (a large fair) and bundling up and camp fires at the cottage. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteOh I'm looking forward scrunching through the leaves in the park and then lighting our wood burner and sitting in front of it with a new hand sewing project.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd combine this jelly roll with my stash of Sherbet pips and make a quilt for a new niece!
thanks for the giveaway
I am really looking forward to consistent cooler weather - we have had a very hot summer. My morning walks will be much more pleasant in the cooler air.

ReplyDeletePS. Thank you for a chance to win. :-)
Fall.. is what we have had here in the UK since May! But in all seriousness, I look forward to apples. England has the best apples in the world, hands down. I didn't know this until I moved here from California. Holy cow they are good. I also can't wait for Bonfire night and mulled wine and hot cider... yum!
ReplyDeleteI love Fall. It is my favorite season. I love the cooler weather, the exiting of the humidity here in the south, the smell of the fallen leaves and wood smoke in the air, the chance to wear my beloved sweaters again and childhood memories of jumping in the leaf piles just so Daddy could rake them up again! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday too - no expectations of extravagant gifts, just good food, family and fun. What more can you ask for?
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to bake delicious pumpkin pie with my kids! We just Love it!
ReplyDeleteThis fall I am going to start college for the first time at the ripe old age of 51! I also started working with the three year olds at the Montessori school where I work and they are ADORABLE! Thanks for the chance to win!

ReplyDeleteThose little apples on the fabric are sewwww cute! Thanks for a chance to win.
The absolute BEST part of fall...cooler weather! Although a close second would be fall colors. I really hate heat and humidity, so summer is NOT my kind of weather at all.

ReplyDeleteIt will be lovely to get back into jeans, sweaters and boots!

Fall is the only time I like living in Oklahoma. The temperature is moderate, the wind has died down, and it's just so nice. I love the leaves changing and all the colors and decorating and Halloween.

We always go camping in the fall..it's the perfect time. Lots of memories wrapped up in those trips! Blessings, Marlene
ReplyDeleteI love the colors! My sister lives in TN and I love going up and seeing the colors change around the mountain areas.
ReplyDeleteI have two lap quilts to make for my neighbor's daughters. This would definitely make one!
Well that's simple...Autumn...Fall...is my favorite time of year. Firstly, it's the most beautiful, IMO! All the colors are divine! I love to see the leaves changing colors. I love the cooler weather...it means I can wear jeans and not sweat...it's just awesome. I love orange...pumpkins are orange...lots of great things. =) Also, there's nothing better than FRESH apples...I love to go apple picking! Wow...there's really just so much about autumn...Yay! I can't believe it's almost here!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great giveaway!
I have finally decided that the only change I welcome is change in the weather - LOL! This week we went from 100 degrees on Sat to 78 degrees on Sunday - awesome! Lows in the 50 - I love being outside in the cool, crisp air. I love watching the trees change color and my garden getting ready to be put to bed for winter (which keeps form quilting). And, it's now soccer season so my 4 yr old is decked in his soccer attire and running all over the place (and sleeping well)!
ReplyDeleteCooler weather is what I'm looking forward to. Enough of the 100+ days of summer:0) I also love the leaves turning colors.
ReplyDeleteI am certainly looking forward to the cooler temperatures. Here in Tx it has been the most unbearably HOT summer I can ever remember going through. 100's for the whole summer... YUCK! So bring on the fall, and the 80s or 70s I'm all in for that :)
ReplyDeleteI like the crispness in the air (although it also brings my coughing for the season). Thanks for the opportunity at winning - I would just keep it until it speaks to me of what it wants to be.
ReplyDeleteFall is such a special time of year in Canada and especially Quebec where I grew up in the Laurentian mountains, Parc de la Gatineau. Imagine a sea of brightly coloured leaves for as far as the eye can see -- brialliant yellow, gold, plum, rust and burning red. Mornings when the air is fresh and crisp and you can see your breath for the first time. The scent of wood burning stoves and the sound of fallen leaves crunching under your feet. I'm looking forward to revisiting this scene in November when the first snow flakes begin to fall, for my father's 70th birthday. This makes me happy.
ReplyDeletei love fall because that's when we break the grapes and make wine we will be drinking at this time next year!
ReplyDeleteAhhh cooler weather would be nice! We've been so hot and dry in Texas.
ReplyDeleteFall brings cooler weather. I love the crisp, fresh air and sitting outside with my morning coffee.
ReplyDeleteLove the giveaway! I love fall because we can drive to the mountains and see the leaves change colors and pick apples. Such wonderful times!
ReplyDeleteFall brings cooler weather, pumpkin picking and hayrides, All FUN!
ReplyDeleteI love Fall...it's my favorite season. I love the changing of the color of the leaves. Cooler weather and more this year....I live in Texas and we have had a really hot summer.
ReplyDeletethim3@hotmail.com
Autumn brings joy to my life -- cooler, more comfortable weather, the colors, the taste of an apple straight from the tree, the warmth of a pot of vegetable soup, the scent of wet leaves and bonfires. It's my favorite season of them all!
ReplyDeleteThanks for offering this giveaway.
I am looking forward to the cooler weather, but along with that comes the smells of fall, the pumpkins and time for things to slow down a little.
ReplyDeleteFall means an end to hibernation. I live in Texas where the summer heat is down right oppressive and we spend the summer hiding in air-conditioned buildings. Fall means I can open the doors and windows and linger over the cool sweet air, not worrying about how much it is costing to air condition the out of doors. Fall means I can wear clothes without day dreaming about how fewer clothes might be cooler, if I didn't mind going naked. Fall means football and apples and hoodies. Thank You God!
ReplyDeleteI'm most looking forward to the cooler weather and the smell and crispness of fall. Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWhat I most like about Fall are the colours. And chestnuts!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway. Just yesterday I was looking at some Little Apples fabrics, this came great!
Ana
After the very hot and humid summer we had, I'm looking forward to cooler temperatures! I also love it when the leaves change color (not a fan of the raking!) especially since we have a maple tree in our front yard. Thanks for a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteSince fall is my favorite time of year I just had to get married in the fall. We always take a drive on our anniversary (or the weekend of) so we can see all the pretty foliage. We usually try to go along the Mississippi River where the colors are spectacular. We also always try to go to an apple orchard to get freshly picked apples and of course a pumpkin too. :)
ReplyDeleteI am already enjoying the cooler temperatures here in Missouri. Love the fall temps, gorgeous leave colors and apple picking. Fresh apple pie sounds like a great idea for this weekend! Oh and looking forward to my boys' first time out trick-or-treating. I think they will have fun now that they are 2... but with a newborn in tow, we probably won't go out too long!
ReplyDeleteI love the cool weather, fires, and baking. togle at purdue dot edu
ReplyDeleteI love fall colors and activities although I do prefer warm weather. I'm looking forward to our annual trip to Door County, WI to see the beautiful fall colors! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of Fall is Halloween. I love to see all the little kids dressed up and hopping up and down for candy! lol After that, I just look forward to having warm weather again. I dislike the cold so early spring is always my wish. lol As for the Jelly roll strip I would make a charity quilt with it. My goal is to make at least 2 quilts to giveaway this winter! Thanks for the chance :)
ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite season - colors, cooler weather, harvest time of apples and pumpkins. Hmmm the smell of apples, pumpkins, and cinnamon wafting thru the house. Time for comfort foods. I think this Jelly Roll (with some Pips)would make a great postage stamp quilt - tied, not quilted. Oh, a great snuggly, comfort quilt on a little girl's bed (or big girl).
ReplyDeleteWhat I look forward to in fall is the decorating. I love the warm colors of fall, and it's so much fun to decorate the house in preparation for the holidays. We live in Florida so we enjoy our fall indoors :-) Thanks for such a generous giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love fall! It's my favorite time of year. I'm so looking forward to cooler weather, the wonderful rich colors, sweaters corduroy, boots. Most of all I can't wait to have my first crisp apple of the season. ( and maybe some cider too)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance to win this, so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to getting to make a winter wardrobe, skirts made of corduroy and denim, oh, and boots, both funky wellies and more sensible ones!
Fall brings October ... Halloween! My birthday! Our anniversary! Hopefully cooler weather! Needless to say, October is my very favorite month.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity ... Love this fabric line!
fall... i love everything about it. the clothes, the crisp air, apples, pumpkins, crunchy leaves, cold nights, mums, cider, pie....
ReplyDeleteI love fall because the maple tree leaves start to change colour and it's just gorgeous around here! Thanks so much for the giveaway! =)
ReplyDeleteI love autumn it is my favourite season! I love the colours, seeing the leaves turning and then going out walking and crunching through the leaves on a dry day :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about fall is going to the pumpkin patch with my kids. Hay rides, picking pumpkings, petting zoo...what else do you need?
ReplyDeleteAutumn means long walks kicking through the leaves then coming home to a fire and crumpets!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is not to love about fall? Apple cider donuts, pumpkin pies, sweaters... it's simply the best. If only it wasn't followed by winter :( I've got a new Jaybird Quilts pattern called Hugs and Kisses that needs a jelly roll - I think this would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteFall has always been my favourite time of year, cooler weather, crunching leaves :) I would probably make a little quilt for me out of it because I love it so much lol
ReplyDeleteWhen the weather cools off in my part of the country I'm looking forward to a bowl of butternut squash soup.
ReplyDeleteWe are having an unusual cool front right now and it is so hard staying in the house. My husband just bought me a bike and I have been enjoying riding the neighborhood. I just like being outside - don't get much sewing done though
ReplyDeletehttp://averagequilter.blogspot.com/
My favorite place to go in the fall is Apple Hill here in Northern California. There's nothing better than hot apple cider, fresh apple donuts and handmade apple pies. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the pumpkin patch, leaves crunching beneath my feet, cooler weather, beef stew, visiting the cider mill, camping, and baking pumpkin bread. And of course working on quilt bindings without getting so hot :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so looking forward to wearing sweaters, drinking hot tea, seeing the colors of fall appear. This is my favorite season! Little apples would be perfect for this time of year to make a quilt to cozy up with!
ReplyDeletei love the cooler weather and eating local apples. thanks for the giveaway! knottygnome@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to crisp morning weather that makes you feel so good when you take a walk, that sweet time after work before the kids get home from school and having those hours to sew and hey hot cocoa in front of the fireplace. :) Love the cakestand. Cute.
ReplyDeleteI love the cooler weather and yummy soup and chili that comes with fall. Also, having always lived in the deep south where we don't get as much color I have enjoyed the few times I've had the opportunity to be a little farther north during "leaf season". The fall colors are my favorites. Thanks for the giveaway and thanks for the blog. I am loving the QAL even if I am few blocks behind.
ReplyDeleteOooh! I love the little apples line. I dream of a quilt! I look forward to fall as a time of nice, but cooler weather with great colors. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteHi, thanks for the great giveaway! I love that fabric :) I plan to use it for some pillows for my couch maybe! And i can't wait to go apple picking. :) THAT is pure fall, and apple cider donuts :)
ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite time of year:0) I love the crisp breezes and sleeping under a pile of blankets while the window is open!!! Pure bliss!
ReplyDeleteI love fall! The cooler weather, the mums blooming, DGKs back in school --I like it all. I always seem to sew more in the fall, which is a most enjoyable activity! Playing with a fun jelly roll would make it perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love love love fall. I love planting Mums, decorating and feeling the cool breezes move in. My oldest memory of fall, is walking to school through the woods, when I was in first grade. Every time I smell that unique fall leaves smell, I'm transported back to that patch of woods.
ReplyDeleteFall is by far my favorite season! I live in southern California so unfortunately it doesn't mean a change of color, just a slight cooling down weather-wise, but for me it the start of the decorating season! My birthday is in late September and I use it to mark the beginning of when I can decorate for Halloween, then Halloween marks when I can decorate for Thanksgiving, and Thanksgiving marks when I can decorate for Christmas. I just love this season! If I won the jelly roll I'd use it to make myself a birthday quilt
ReplyDeleteMMMMM, cooler weather, crunchy leaves, spectacular colors, apple butter on crisp toast.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to pulling out my sweaters! And scarves... it's the clothes that make the season. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is fun! I love Little Apples. I want to make some 12 patches! Yeah. We're heading to the Oregon Coast!
ReplyDeleteTo me, fall means: cooler weather, color changing senary, and campfires.
ReplyDeleteI would make a lovely table cloth with the "Little Apples jelly roll"
Thx
We don't have the four seasons but I love the colorful leaves of Fall :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Yummy giveaway!
My favorite fall thing about the city we live in is an event called Taste of Chico. The city closes off several blocks of our quaint little downtown area and a TON of local restaurants (and breweries and wineries, but we don't drink, so we skip those) have samples out. You have to buy a ticket - the mid-range ones give you 7 food samples and 4 beverages (there are non-alcoholic options) - and basically you walk around and eat for four hours! It kind of kicks off the fall season here in Chico - plus it was the first real "date" my husband and I went on four years ago! This is our fifth time going and we have a great time every year. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway - love Little Apples!!
I am looking forward to the beautiful fall colors, the cooler weather, and being able to use my oven for baking again. Thanks so much for the giveaway -- I love the fabric!! I really enjoy your blog -- am loving the embroidery of the month!!

Cooooooooool weather!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning. I love giveaways! :) Fall is my favorite time of the year and my most favorite part is the way it smells but the changing colors is glorious, too. I, especially, like the grays in this collection. I think I'd like to make placemats out of it.

Fall means cooler temperatures (!!!) and, after an appropriate pause, time to decorate the outside for Halloween! Love to decorate! (Love those Little Apples too!)
ReplyDeleteThere are so many things to look forward to in Fall. I love baking all the cinnamony, appley, pumpkiny recipes. Curling up in front of the fireplace with the hubby, camping when the mornings are crisp and cool... lovely!
ReplyDeleteFall means harvest and football and school. Harvest moons. Crunchy leaves, pretty colours. Cozy, covered toes, long pants, sweaters. A hair cut --- getting rid of summer sun-faded hair.
ReplyDeleteI like going for walks around where we live with my little one and see how she enjoys kicking the fallen leaves. I like the crispiness in the air that makes you want to cuddle up by the fire with a big mug of tea... thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteIt is said that scent is the closest thing to a memory and that is very true for me. When I think of fall I think of all the smells and it fills me up. I love fall, the cool weather, wonderful, smells, and celebrating with family. One smell that is very strong is cherry tobacco. My grandfather would always have a pipe after thanksgiving dinner during the game. Odd thing is I was 4 when he died (i am 28 now) and the memory is as strong as any of the others. I look forward to creating new scent memories with my husband and boys, in hopes that many years from now they will catch a smell and smile in the thought of mom. Thanks for sharing a chance at an awesome giveaway. Oh and i would probably make a cuddly quilt.
ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite season and the cooler weather makes me want to start baking goodies and put down the cold sweet tea and take up the hot cup of tea. Thank you for this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I'm mostly looking forward to cooler weather. I also love the tradition at my school a collecting "tree kisses" or "lucky leaves". The whole playground freezes and looks up, and kids go off chasing falling leaves. It's kind of magical.
ReplyDeleteI love all the beautiful colors!! Leaves turning and falling... oh and my baby boy was born in the fall!!
ReplyDeleteI looooove riding my bike through the leaves :) and I love when you wake up and it seems like the trees have changed overnight!

We had a bit of that labor day and it was lovely. Its gone away and we are nearing 100F again. Sigh. I love the sight and sound of falling leaves and the dusky evenings with their cool breezes. I've been going to bed before dark during the summer and I'm looking forward to feeling like an adult going to bed after dark.

ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to cooler weather!! I always enjoy celebrating with my husband the day of our first date...October 5th...we had strawberry milkshakes...54 years ago! Would love to win that jelly roll. Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteI love the cool comfortable temps and bright leaves of autumn. My favorite fall memories are of Halloween and trick or treating as a child, and handing out candy when I got older. One year I dressed up as a headless bum and sat on the front porch with an empty beer bottle in my lap and my dad's shirt buttoned up over the top of my head. You should have seen the kids jump when I said, "Just take one!"
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to my birthday in October!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to cooler weather!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to fall smells...apples, crisp air, leaves, pumpkin, etc.!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to win some lovely fabric. The thing I am looking forward to about Fall is the leaves changing. I'm also looking forward to the rain, because we haven't had any for about 2 months, and my grass has turned to dust. brunerjj(at)yahoo(dot)com
ReplyDeleteThe fall is my favorite time of year! I love the colors, the crispness in the air and all sorts of outdoor activities - pumpkin patches, festivals, etc.
ReplyDeleteWhat I most look forward to for fall is snuggling up in front of the fire under a big quilt with my kids! We spend many chilly fall evenings cuddled up enjoying a movie or board games. I adore this fabric and it would make a beautiful quilt that would get lots of love and kitty fur on it =)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the fall holidays. Most of all I'm looking forward to watching my almost 5 year old granddaughter play soccer. Her games start this Saturday. Thank you for your embroidery 101 and for this giveaway.
ReplyDeleteFall is a time of birthdays for our family (like mine) and I love the cooler weather so can work outside in the yard. I would love to make a quilt with that cute Little Apples jelly roll! I didn't have fabric for Embroidery 101, so perhaps it will be OK to use to "get started". Thanks for the chance. mlwright29(at)hotmail(dot)com

ReplyDeleteThat is an easy one....cooler temps. I am so sick and tired of 100+ degree days. Thankfully we have had a very nice week with highs in the 70's. I am glad fall is here. I also love pumpkins, so bring on fall!
ReplyDeleteI love Fall and the cooler weather. Of course Fall makes me think of apples; cider, pie, crisp, dumplings, and butter. While working in Page Co. VA, I learned how to make apple butter in a copper kettle over a fire. There is nothing like a fresh batch & home-made rolls. I still make the 3 hour drive to get the Page Co 4-H apple butter every October.
ReplyDeleteI love the changing colors of fall, the falling leaves, the cool nights, and the cooler days. Here is Arizona it is my favorite season. thanks,
ReplyDeleteCooler temperatures are what I am looking forward to this fall. Trying to hand-quilt in this heat is a challenge. I would love to use that jelly roll in another quilt!

ReplyDeleteLiving in Texas, I'm looking forward to cooler weather & hopefully some RAIN!!! It's been a rough couple of days with some many wild fires. I'm a new quilter (in the midst of attempting my very first quilt) so I don't have any plans just yet for the jelly roll, but I'm sure I would think of something fun if I won!

ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway. THANKS Bea
I LOVE the colors of fall!! My favorite memory is my mom, who was a full time career woman, taking a day off during the week when I was about 8. We made peanut butter pine cones covered in bird seed and made the maple leaf windows... where you put the leaves and crayon shavings between wax paper and ironed them!
ReplyDeleteI'd love a chance to make some GORGEOUS purses from that LOVELY fabric!!
Have a GREAT weekend!!
~Michele
Fall is my favorite time of the year. Here in Spokane, the leaves change colors and it is so beautiful when they fall. We have lots of leaves to rake in our yard and the gkids just love it along with the kitties. I love the cooler weather and the sense of change. Very inspiring to me. And love the fabric and your patterns - think I'll have to make a bag!
ReplyDeleteI love fall 'cause it's the start of football season which means the start of quilting season for me.. The weather is getting cold here in AK and so while my husband sits down to watch football with our son I get to sit down and work on my quilt (or quilts - I usually have several projects going). This "little apples" jelley roll would make an adorable car/road trip quilt for my little boy. :).

My favorite thing about fall, besides the crisp, cool weather, apples, changing leaves, sweaters, and anticipation of the upcoming holidays, is Pumpkin Spice Lattes!! I recently moved to Japan, so I'm on a quest to find a Starbucks to get my hands on one!!
