Just Stopping In

Just stopping in really quick this morning to ask you to head over to Sharon's blog, Craizee Corners. I am posting there today about the Ruby market tote! I'm the last post in a whole week devoted to Bonnie & Camille's fabric. So, stop by and say hi!

Oh, and in case you wanted some eye candy for stopping here...I finished my alternate color embroidery for the Ruby market tote my mom and I are making out of Sandi Henderson's Secret Garden.  I might need ten of these bags...

For a little bit of variation, I satin stitched the top of the tulip flowers, left out most of the french knots, did a simple straight stitch in the large flower, and two rows of back stitch on the swirls.  It's stitched on Kona Dresden Blue and I'm really happy with the results!

  1. Good morning Clara and Jennie. I am not sure which of you visited my blog Simplify, but either way, welcome, hello, and boy am I glad to have found your blog in return! So much sewing goodness to take in. You know I will be back!!!!

  2. It looks beautiful in this colorway too Jennie1

  3. I love how the embroidery looks on that blue!! I do a lot of embroidery but have never used a strong colour fabric like this! I want to give this a try NOW! Off to visit Craizee Corners!

  4. This looks like it is more along my way of stitching....less filling in.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to leave a comment! It really brightens our day. We try to respond to your questions if your e-mail is available either in your profile or your comment.
