Shop & TOU Update

the Sophie beach bag
It has only taken me the better part of a year to get this pattern finished, but it is finally in the shop!  This is actually one of my favorite bags, I love the Moda Cross Weave, and, of course, the purple {fabric is Central Park by Kate Spain for Moda...but Good Fortune would be amazing too!}.  It seemed like it was about time to finish this one, since we have three new patterns that will be debuting in the next month!

In addition, we've also decided to update our Terms of Use.  When we initially created our bags, we intended to {and did} sell finished bags as well.  However, as our focus has been on designing new patterns, we have decided not to sell finished products.  Therefore, small, handmade shops, run by individuals in their homes, are now allowed to sell bags made from our patterns under the following terms:

- Pattern must have been purchased by the seller at retail price (if you received the pattern for free, for example, in a giveaway, please purchase the pattern before selling items)
- Item must be sewn by the seller on a small scale only
- Credit for the pattern must be given (a link is preferred, but not required)
- No mass production of any sort is allowed.

If you plan to sell bags from our patterns, we'd love to see your shop, and are hoping to create a directory for those who wish to purchase finished bags.

Our terms of use have been updated in our shop, but we haven't updated our Etsy shop yet updated!

To celebrate our change in terms, we're going to be showcasing some of our bags made by other quilters and sewers!  Today we have two:

the Emma clutch by Sara of Sew Sweetness
the Brooklyn bag by Sandie of Crazy 'Bout Quilts
Be sure to stop by and check out their finished bags, they're lovely!  Thank you ladies!

If you've made a bag from any of our patterns we'd love to show it off too!  We're going to begin a monthly feature series with interviews from other bloggers/Flickrers who have used our patterns!  Just leave a comment or send an e-mail to office {at} cloverandviolet {dot} com!

Happy sewing and quilting!
