Okay so maybe this is for motivation for me to get this back into shape! I am so happy that you can't
see how bad it really is! The ironing board blocks what is on the floor and around the corner is there is another table covered with more {fabric}!
Have a great day and you know what I'll be doing..... Sewing!!!
Ha- these are the types of pics I like to see! By the way, I love that drawer storage cabinet in the back corner.
ReplyDeleteHee! I have the same IKEA table in the back corner. I use it as my cutting table...so I have to throw all my piles on the floor when I'm cutting something big.
ReplyDeleteI think your sewing room looks so sweet!
ReplyDeleteLOL!! I see so much of the fabric that I love and use in your room!! I adore your furniture!! The hutch and drawer unit are wonderful!! Have fun sewing...do I spy more granny squares? :)
ReplyDeleteHaHa! My room often looks like this. And I share it with another sewist... my eight year old daughter! My husband will tell us that the room is a mess and we quickly respond that the room is colorful.
ReplyDeleteHave fun sewing in your "colorful" room today!
Jennifer :)
Looks like something wonderful is happening in there.
ReplyDeleteI *love* your room Clara!! :o) So much prettiness happening in there. :o) We would have so much fun sewing together! :o) Your white hutch is so cute! I can not wait to start painting my furniture. love ya. Trish xo
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! I know you've been busy sewing lots of lovely things! I only wish I could come over and sew with you, maybe soon! Love you!
ReplyDeleteWow...just wow. =) Have fun.
ReplyDeleteNice to know that I'm not the only one! My sewing room looks alot like that, but your's is so much cuter!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun place to play :)
ReplyDeleteLooks fine. It means you are being creative. Looks like I am going to IKEA to get one of those cabinets in the corner!
ReplyDeleteThat looks neat as a pin to me, I cant even see the walls in mine, or sitin my sewing chair much elss touch it at this point. I never seem to finish anything either. Right now I am suppose to be working on a commissioned quilt, yet I cant cause I was trying to reset everything to more workabale space. what a mess I have. you are lucky yours is so neat.
ReplyDeleteIt may be messy, but it is messy with beautiful fabric and color! I say that's a good thing. =)
ReplyDeleteWhat's that saying? Creative minds are rarely tidy! My sewing room is a total mess.
ReplyDeleteClara, all I see are pretty, tempting colours...and the evidence that you have been enjoying yourself. :-)
ReplyDeleteHugs
Jenny
xx
I love it! And its definitely cleaner than mine at the moment! :-) In fact, I just showed my husband and said "Look! I am not the only one!" :-)
ReplyDeleteIt just looks like a whole lot of fun to me! :-)
ReplyDeleteI thought that only my sewing room was that messy, with fabric all over the place. Apparently not!
ReplyDeleteI hope that you had a great day yesterday!
I think we have sewing rooms that look like that sometimes. When you are working on a project it is hard to keep it neat. I always take time to straighten things up again before I start the next project.
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly what my space looks like when I am in the thick of things. What a pretty mess of fabric it is, though. Patty
ReplyDeleteI realy need to ask you how you got in to take a picture of my sewing room????? LOL guyie@midmaine.com
ReplyDeleteFANTASTIC!This picture makes me happy! Me too have cupboard doors over filled with strips of fabric. Couldn't live without those doors. Me too have table tops piled up with a mix of everything making it impossible to see what is REALLY going on. I just love the oooooooooozzzzzzzzeeeee of creativity in here. Wonderful. I feel at home.
