My parents came and visited the week before this last one. It was my dad's (Opa's) first time meeting his new grandson, and {needless to say} both were thrilled. It was great to see them both with their newest grandbaby!
That weekend we adventured through the Adirondacks {with a quick stop in Lake Placid, where Josiah got me some beautiful earrings...pictures of those later!} and across Lake Champlain to Vermont {where my parents were staying for a business trip}.
Although it was rather frigged {I kept wishing I'd brought a hat, scarf, and gloves!}, we got to see a few lovely sights, above is the capitol building in Montpelier {which is a cute little city}. We stayed in Burlington, right down the street from the Church Street Marketplace and enjoyed the outdoor shopping area {in spite of the cold}.
And, of course, here was the most photo-worthy part of the trip, our happy little guy {who hated sleeping in the hotel room - or didn't sleep in the hotel room} on his first trip out of state and his first night away from home. While traveling with a two-month-old was very challenging, it was a wonderful time!
adorable-as always!!
