Etsyversary {& Giveaway!}

Oops!  I meant to post about this on Sunday, but it's our one-year Etsyversary!  With all the planning that lead up to our shop opening last year, the anniversary date completely slipped by us.  We had a great year and hope it is just the start of many more to come.  We'd love you to join us in our celebration, so we're giving away a few fun things from our shop to three different people.

the Margaret mini bag {in a surprise fabric}

To enter, just leave a comment on this blog post telling us something you'd like to see in our shop {we love new ideas, now we just have to find time to work on them!} for this upcoming year.  We're giving you the chance to earn extra entries too.
  • Follow our blog publicly {leave a comment telling us}

The Fine Print:  Please make sure to leave a comment for each entry so that we count the correct number of entries.  The contest will run for two weeks and is open internationally, and you have until 9pm EDT on April 27 to enter.  Then check back on Wednesday, April 28th to see if you won.  The winner will have 24 hours to claim the prize, or we'll choose someone else.  Not a blogger?  We are offering the same contest for our Facebook fans, head over to the notes page!

Thank you for a great first year!

  1. Happy Anniversary!! So exciting! What a year you've had - congrats!

    I follow your blog :)

  2. Have you thought about doing little bags for kiddos to haul their "entertainment" in? Both my girls gave one that I keep filled with crayons and coloring books etc so that when we are headed out the door and I need **SOMETHING** to keep them busy we're all set to go - no scramble, no rush. It's great!

  3. Ohh! I love a give away! I follow your blog publicly! I love everything you all come up with. I would love to see laptop bags! I have seen a few people carry quilted laptop bags! Sooo cute. I also would love to see tablewear. Runners and I love placemats. Keep up the great work. Your blog is so well organized and you are so very talented! Denise

  4. I was referred here by Neicee at: http://dbriese.blogspot.com/

    I'd love to be entered in your giveaway and have become a Follower. I hope you come by my blog and do the same!

    I love quilting but have never tried it myself. The sewing machine scares me, although I have one that I just sit and stare at. My mom was an avid sewer, but I have never shared her love of it. I don't have the patience.

    So that's two entries for me?

    Thank you!

  5. Your blog is just so sweet. It would be a DREAM to have a shop with my Mom and sister. How bless are you both! Love your blog and feeling inspired. Dawn (Denise's sister)

  6. I just found your blog and love it! Love the patterns. :) Am so going to check out your etsy stuff as well! :) happy I found you!

  7. I love, love, love my bag that you crafted (Wonderland fabric). I get compliments on it daily! I would LOVE to see some cosmetic bags, sunglass cases, or just about anything to go in the adorable purse of mine! :) Congrats on your sweet baby boy! Yes, enjoy the moments, they go quick!!!

  8. While in blogging land...I came across this new book coming soon. Maybe some fun ideas to add to your shop from there? Check it out here http://portabellopixie.typepad.com/portabellopixie/2010/03/sewing-bits-and-pieces-.html
    I love her fabric lines too!
    Happy Sewing!!!

  9. Hello ladies! Great giveaway! I have become a follower! Have a nice week! Twyla

  10. I'm a big fan of bold graphic & geometric fabric patterns- like your margaret bag- love to see those types of prints for your baby quilts!

    I also love the idea by Molly for little personal kid bags- my 2 year old daughter Maiya would flip over that!

  11. Oh, and HAPPY Etsyversary! I follow your blog publicly :)

  12. Congrats on your anniversary! I love your shop, and would love to see baby booties or knit "boots." The knit hats you have are adorable :)

  13. so exciting! happy anniversary!
    I follow you!

  14. Humm...now that you have a boy...what about boy costume stuff...I always love things that help them be more creative (like capes, hats, etc)! =) If that isn't more of the style of stuff you like to make...what about things for a boys room? Curtins, bed accessories, etc.?

  15. Thank you for inspiring the craftiness of life.

    I think you should have a some sewing projects, like cloth or quilted books and calico stuffed animals like they had in the 50's.
