Handmade for Christmas

I didn't get around to most of my handmade gifts this year {my brother is still looking for his knit beanie!}...but I did get this little trio made for my mom.  I saw these "Quilting Process" panels and just had to make one, and Amy did a fabulous job custom blending the colors for me any everything!

Putting it together was a lot of fun, but narrowing down the blocks to just three was difficult.  So, out of some of my other scraps, I made some matching pincushions too.

She loved it, and I did too!  It was a little difficult to part with {am I the only one who makes things and then wants to keep them?}  Instead, I'm just thinking I need to make one for myself too!  And she made me a cute quilt too, which I'll take photos of soon.  Right now we're busy enjoying our out-of-town family that is visiting.  So, until later...

  1. That is really neat! I love the little matching pincushions. So much cuter than your typical tomato!
