I'm really having a wonderful time embroidering with everyone participating in the
Stitch & Quilt Along! I'll readily admit I was a little nervous when starting the
Stitch & Quilt Along that no one would actually participate {perhaps this is largely due to my QAL enthusiasm...but this will be my first finish!}. Since there are nine blocks for this particular project, when
block six was posted, I asked everyone to post a photo of their completed six blocks, and here are some of the lovelies from the Flickr group:
Since everyone loves a little giveaway...there was one associated with finishing all six blocks! Everyone who posted to the linky for block six was entered to win some new embroidery needles, a handmade needle case, and a little travel pouch. So, first here's the linky {there are repeats because everyone is encouraged to show off their blocks both places!}:
And now, the RNG chose Kris of
Farm Girl Transplanted!
I'm finishing up the little things this evening, but it's gotten too dark to take a photo...so look for one soon! So glad you're all participating, and it's still not too late to join either {and you can win fabric if you finish your quilt top!}. Happy stitching!
Nice blocks! They are all very pretty!
ReplyDeleteLovely blocks by all - and congratulations to Kris.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Kris! And thank you Jennie for having this FUN Stitch & Quilt Along!!
ReplyDeleteThey are all looking so good. I have gotten a little behind, but was working on making my last 3 blocks tonight and I have a lengthy car trip this weekend and plan to take my embroideries with me. I'm hoping to be caught up by the time I get back home next Wednesday (Just in time for the next block).
ReplyDeleteGood job everyone!
ReplyDeleteEek! I have been behind from the beginning and I still haven't caught up! Everyone's look so good!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Farmgirl! =) It's been a great QAL and you give us time...I fell off the bus in my other QAL this summer...because I just didn't have time to sew. =(
ReplyDeleteThanks for all you do!
Thanks, Jennie! The QAL is lots of fun and paced just right. It's the first time I've done any embroidery and you're stitch lessons are SO helpful! Oh - and now I am hooked :-).
