Stash Project: Thoughts (& a winner)

Well, I don't have a stash project for December.  I was going to show Norah's stocking...but, well, it is still a bunch of pieces {my mom actually put part of it together, so at least it has a start}.  Good thing one-month-olds don't realize they don't have a stocking at Christmas.  But, I know some of you might still be finishing up projects, so we'd still love to see your projects.

But, in addition to looking at your wonderful December finishes, I'd like to know, is this a feature you'd like to see continued next year?  Or would you like me to start a new monthly feature {and if so, do you have suggestions?}?  I really look forward to {and value} your input!

And now, on to the winner of last month's post:
So stop by and check out Katie's post on her Mini Xs Quilt!  As announced last month, Katie is going to be receiving a personalized mug rug and some other goodies {that will be started shortly after the New Year...since I don't see myself having time before then!}.

If you've made something out of your stash and would like to share it, we'd love to see.  If you link up your project you'll have a chance to win a copy of our newest pattern: the Anne handbag.  When linking up, please make sure to follow our few simple rules, and visit some of the other great stash projects too! The giveaway will close when the linky closes, on December 31.

  1. I have a project I am going to link up after Christmas. I can't post about it until then because I am not sure if Daughter sneaks a peak at the blog or not and it is a Christmas gift for her. So I will link up after that. I personally like this. but then I like everything you do so if you change it I would like that too. LOL

  4. I just linked, and now looking back it wasn't only the quilt that was from stash, the pillow was too! Bonus! Keep doing what makes you happy, for me, that makes for happy reading or even linking!

  5. I love your blog and I do like your stash projects very much, but maybe next year you can use a theme for them. One months pillows, the other month bags or pouches etc. Just do whatever suits you, I enjoy coming to this blog every once and a while :) Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  6. Thanks again, Jennie and Clara! I can't wait to see what you make up for me. :)

I have only been reading your blog for a few months and like the idea of the stash projects. It's a great reminder to use what we already have.

  7. I love the stash project series! I generally just sew from my stash (since I buy fabric without projects in mind :> ), so I love being able to add to your linky. :)

  8. I've been following your blog since the 1st Quilt Along and I love the monthly stash project. It motivates me to sew something at least a month using my stash!! I would love to see this feature continue next year...Thank you!!
