Midnight Garden (the Ruby market tote)

We made another version of the Market Tote made with Sandi Henderson's Secret Garden. Jennie and I thought it would be fun to make this as a gift so we could use another beautiful line of fabric. This tote will be sent to my daughter Rachel. I love it! It has been great seeing other totes made in different fabrics and some with or without the pocket and I really like the bag made with a hexagon flower on the pocket {check them out here}!

Here is the beautiful embroidery done by Jennie. I love the design and I think it goes so perfectly with this fabric.

It is a nice size to carry all kinds of goodies. I would like to use this as a traveling tote it would hold magazines, books, any hand stitching and roomy enough for a snack and a bottle of water. I think that means I need to make myself a Ruby market tote.

  5. Very nice! I'm using mine to carry portable projects but want to make more to use for groceries, without the pockets that is. This bag is such a great size. :)

  8. Beautiful tote...I love the embroidery combined with the bold blues, it works so well. You just can't have too many bags, and they are always so useful too!
