Car Seat Quilt {tutorial}

I made a car seat quilt for Silas, way back before he was born and put it on the blog.  It remains one of the most searched posts on the blog.  I figured Norah needed one too...and the Moda Bake Shop published it as a tutorial! {And, if you're visiting from the Moda Bake Shop, welcome!  I hope you find something you like and stick around!}

The only problem...Sophie charm squares are already getting harder to find, so Chrissy of Sew Lux Fabric & Gifts made this version out of Domestic Bliss:

And the kit for it is available here at a special price!  I think I might need to make one of these too...  And they're a great new baby gift too, to keep that little one cozy and stylish all at the same time {and I think it would look great with little boy fabric too...I'm keeping an eye on Ten Little Things...}

Hope you enjoy my project, and a big thanks to the Moda Bake Shop for featuring it!

  11. Love the colors, and what a great idea! My baby's blankets always fall off. Too bad winter's almost over here. But that would make a good gift, too!
