Garden Steps: More Details

Questions? Missed a post? Find the index here.

As we gear up for the start of the Garden Steps: Stitch & Quilt Along, since many of you are considering participating, here are a few more details.

There will be two quilt options this time, a full quilt which will measure approximately 51" x 68" {before the sashing option - I need to make a date with my calculator before next week to get all the figures really ironed out!}, and a baby quilt which will measure approximately 34" x 51".

The tentative schedule is as follows {dates are subject to change...}.  All the way through the assembling the quilt blocks will be more rapid, then we'll settle into one embroidery block every other week.  Much of the stitching will take place over the summer, but it seemed to work out okay last time, so hopefully it will again this time.  Also, the schedule will be continually updated with links on the index page:
  • Gathering Supplies {February 22, 2012}
  • Cutting the Fabric {February 29, 2012}
  • Assembling the Blocks {March 7, 2012}

  6. What fabric line are you using? Sew Lux has it? I was thinking that if that fabric in the picture is available, I would like to order some. Thanks
