Learning and Growing

Clockwise from top left: Kindle Fire Cover, Sophie Car Seat Quilt, Baby Skirt, FLQS, Garden Steps Block, and Stash Bee Block
My mom and I have been chatting about our blog, and I'm making a few changes in how I blog, hopefully for the better!

My new goal, to be more real {not that I was trying to be fake before...just, well, you know!}, and let everyone have a peek into my {not-so-interesting} life.

And my second goal {hence this post} is to participate more in blogland.  I do my best to visit other blogs and leave comments {still not too successful, but working on it!}...but now I'm going to try to take it a little further and participate in some linkys {because I love it when people participate in ours} and meet new bloggers {and I'm still reading through the who are you? comments too}!

So, in an effort to be transparent, anything about me you'd like to know?

    1. You can see my sewing area here, here, and here! My mom is moving her's right now, so hopefully she'll have pictures soon! And my favorite ice cream is Strawberry Cheesecake, but if I'm buying it for the house, the joint favorite is Peanut Butter Cup or Cookies & Cream. :)

  7. What are you go-to recipes for kid-friendly eating? Oh, and I'd love to know a bit more about how you sneak in your sewing time. I'm always curious how other bloggers who are also mothers manage their time. :)

    1. I seriously need to find some kid-friendly recopies...so far I make two dinners because Silas doesn't really like meat or pasta. But, he does love this homemade Mac & Cheese!

And I sew by sneaking in small increments. My sewing things are right next to the toys in our family room. So, whenever they're distracted (or sleeping) I sew a little bit here and there, then I'm available to drive a fire truck for a while and then sew a bit in between!
