There She Goes

I mentioned it yesterday...but this is what my sewing area looks like!  While I've been trying to squeeze in all the sewing and quilting I can, it is time for a bit of a slow down.  The reason?  This girl:

crawler

She's crawling all over the place, and gets to my stuff quicker than I can!  So, this blog may seem a bit more sparse over the next several weeks.  But, my wonderful mom has offered to blog a little bit more, so you'll get to know her a bit better!

But really, would you rather sew or play with this girl?  Yeah, I pick this girl too!

And my mom has updated the destash page again, if you want to check it out!

  1. She's beautiful! We moved all my scrapbooking stuff into a corner of our bedroom to do MJ's new big girl room. It's been there for over a month and I have yet to organize it. Gotta choose what matters most!

  3. She is so adorable!!! I am going through a bit of the same right now with my little one and all of her older siblings, too.

I saw this on Anita's sidebar... for some reason your blog isn't showing up in my dashboard. Gonna go see if I can fix that right now!

  7. Your sewing area looks like mine! Actually, my whole craft room looks like that! But I have a similar reason, he he! Definitely enjoy your sweetie--blogs will wait, but time flies.

  8. What a cutie pie! Thanks for sharing the current state of your sewing area. It's always refreshing to see other sewists' spaces looking "real".

  10. I love it. This is what a real sewing rom looks like. The pristine ones are clearly not used. How can anyone create something without rummaging around for the right fabrics, trims, etc. Must have the ironing board, too, of course.

  11. Hi! Beautiful girlie! I really like the tutu!
    May I suggest?
A few big Rubbermaid containers, they have clear ones now, sort out all the stuff on, over and under the cute little white table (I want one of those!), put your cutting board, rulers, etc, there, and then you can set up an amusement area with a quilt and toys for her on the floor, and then you can cut, sew, sew, sew!!!
You can always get containers at garage sales if not on sale at the big box stores!
Good luck, enjoy your little one!
    take care, Leslie

  12. I would definitly play with this little beauty. She is just too cute. Have fun while they are little it seems like before you know it they are preteens and everything changes again. Having children in the house was one of my most loved pleasures.
