Before...

In case you're wondering why I've been a bit absent...here's a peek at my house as of last week.  I don't usually live in utter chaos...

Before...

...but when the movers delivered our things, I asked them to unpack the boxes {a few friends said this is the way to go - I now agree, no packing material to deal with!}.

Before...

However, when they unpack, they don't put anything away, they just empty the boxes into piles everywhere.

Now, I am busy putting all those things in their new homes. As a result, I think my embroidery tutorials might be a couple days late. Bear with me as I sort through all the stuff I forgot I had over the last several weeks!

  2. Oh my! I think I would not be happy with them just leaving everything around. I like to unpack my own boxes, and put things away where I can find them ;-) Hope it all goes well.

  5. Wow, that is quite a job you've got. When we moved, we didn't let the movers unpack stuff for us. I was able to do it fairly quickly myself, but I didn't have a little one to deal with. We just recycled the paper and gave the boxes to a friend who was moving, so it all worked out. But we don't move often, so I imagine if we did, we might change our minds. Don't worry, you'll be all dug out soon!
