Obnoxious?


After some direction changes since my mom and I first opened up shop, it was time to get some new business cards.  I'd ordered some samples from Moo.com and was pretty satisfied with them.  So, with just a few changes, a larger batch was ordered.  I checked and checked the cards for errors, and finally placed the order, only to notice this when they arrived:

Yes, that's right, I ordered business cards with not one, but two exclamation points on them!  I was aware that I use too many exclamation points when commenting on blogs and Flickr photos...but I didn't realize it had gone this far.  So, now I am that seemingly obnoxious girl handing out business cards with exclamation points, at least until I run out.  Good thing I only ordered 50!!

In the meantime, I plan to curb my exclamation usage so similar instances may be more easily avoided.  At least the bags look good on the back {sorry for the bokeh...I was too lazy to change the lens on my camera}. Oh, and I highly recommend Moo.com, if you're looking for something of the sort.   Live and learn, right?

    Exclamation points shows enthusiasm, and that's not a bad thing! Love the rounded corners of the cards. ;)

    I'm not offended by them. I think they show you have feeling. Don't tell, but I use '...' a lot. =) Oops...smiley faces too! Sorry. =OP

    I would never have thought them obnoxious! I thought for sure you were going to point out some awful spelling or grammatical error. They look great! Oops... too many exclamation points in my comment... guess I'm obnoxious too. ;)

    LOL - I didn't even notice the ! on your cards. I tend to use a lot of ! as well - it's hard to show excitement or enthusiasm without them. But I have tried to put myself on a ! reduction plan, at least in my F'book comments!

    In any case, the cards do look great! :D

    Like everyone else, I don't find your ! usage obnoxious at all!! Oh wait maybe there is a reason for that! I know....it's because we are in the same "Exclamation Boat" hehehe
